Q - question

Import error: No point file format match found

A - answer When trying to import a list of point coordinates from a TXT file to AutoCAD Civil 3D, an error message is displayed: "No point file format match found"

Import - error (CZ)

The coordinate text file is most probably saved in Unicode (16-bit). The point import function requires a standard 8-bit ANSI encoding. So just open and re-save your file in Notepad to the ANSI format:

ANSI - Notepad (CZ version)

And retry the import.
