Inventor reports the error "Failed to create folder" or "Error creating the lock file lockfile.lck"
A - answer Inventor suddenly displays the error "Failed to create folder" or "Error creating the lock file lockfile.lck" (Error code: 2) and the model file cannot be saved:

Most probably those file operations are really not accessible - as a result of limited user rights, or blocked by your antivirus, or disk full, etc.

A know issue is e.g. a collision with the Microsoft Defender. Update your antivirus or exclude checking of Inventor.exe.
