Q - question

Missing 2D views, VIEWBASE in AutoCAD Architecture 2012.

A - answer The CUI panel "2D views" and the commands VIEWBASE, VIEWPROJ, VIEWEDIT, VIEWUPDATE and VIEWSTD are not available in the AEC versions of AutoCAD 2012.

Despite the Help lists them (a known defect), these commands are intended primarly for mechanical drawings (and processing 3D models from MCAD software) and so they are not available in AutoCAD Architecture 2012, AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 or AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012.
