Q - question

Point export error: No points were transferred from the source

A - answer When trying to export points to a text file XYZ from an AutoCAD Civil 3D project (command AeccExportPoints, ribbon Output > Export > Export points), the error message "No points were transferred from the source" is displayed and export fails - points cannot be exported.

There is probably no COGO point for export in your project (see Prospector > Points). If you need to export positions (locations) of other point types than Civil 3D points (i.e. COGO), first convert your points to COGO points using the tools in the panel "Create points" (or in Points > Utilities) - e.g. "Convert AutoCAD Points" (command CREATEPTCONVERTADESKPTS), or points from aligments, corridors, surfaces, etc.
