Q - question

How to make an AVI animation of a reasonable size from Inventor?

A - answer When you switch on recording, Inventor makes an AVI file from all contents of the moving assembly.
You have to decide whether you really need to capture the whole full size window. We recommend to shrink the assembly window to a reasonable size before recording and remove all overlapping UI components (toolbars) from this window.
Choose MS Video 1 compression and default quality of 75. Use only a minimum number of animation frames to present your moving assembly.
This can shorten a multimegabyte AVI file to hundreds of kilobytes only.
