When switching from paperspace to a floating viewport, viewport performs 'zoom fit'.

A - answer Set the UCSFOLLOW variable to 0 (both in modelspace and paperspace) and set SHADEMODE (visual style) to 2Dwireframe. Or lock the viewport (mview).
