Q - question

How to draw barcode in AutoCAD drawings?

A - answer To create barcodes in AutoCAD drawings you can use e.g. one of the following methods:
  1. write barcode as AutoCAD text (MText) using one of the "barcode" fonts installed in Windows (usually TrueType - EAN, UPC, Code 39/128, UCC, JAN, e.g.: www.bizfonts.com/free or www.barcodesinc.com/free-barcode-font/)
  2. using a utility which converts your alphanumeric code group to AutoCAD entities (draws rectangles) - see e.g. BARCODE.LSP on Download
  3. insert barcode in your AutoCAD drawing as an OLE object of another Windows application - e.g. Corel BARCODE object
  4. use a commercially available barcode ActiveX component and write a simple AutoCAD VBA macro to control it
  5. use a standalone barcode application (like that from www.designworkz.com) and copy/paste the resulting code as a bitmap to your drawing
  6. for QR-codes you can use CADstudio ImgConvert
