Q - question

How to export layers to individual drawings?

A - answer Contents of the individual layers (objects) in a drawing can be splitted 'by layer' and exported to individual DWG files (with single layer) using the free LISP utility by CAD Studio - Lay2Dwg. For download on www.cadstudio.cz/download.

Just load the application with APPLOAD and start the LAY2DWG command. The command prompts for an optional filename prefix and then exports the contents of individual layers (or a given layer only) to separate DWG files.

You can enter layer lists in the form ("LayerA" "LayerB")
