Q - question

How to make voids (islands) in hatch areas?

A - answer If you want to avoid hatching an internal area in the hatched object, make sure you include the island object or objects (or e.g. text) in the selection set of the HATCH or BHATCH command.
Also make sure you have set the Normal or Outer methods of hatching (see the Advanced tab in BHatch).
