How to find the polyline direction/orientation?

A - answer Load the Sample\dirarrow.lsp file from the Sample folder in Map and run the ARROW command (AutoCAD orientation) or ODARROW (Map topology orientation). This command displays temporary direction arrows on selected lines, arcs or polylines.
