Q - question

What is the difference between MEASUREMENT and MEASUREINIT variables?

A - answer The MEASUREMENT system variable controls the metric (=1) or English (=0) unit setting for the drawing. For metric drawings AutoCAD uses the "ISO" versions of hatch patterns and linetypes (ACADISO.PAT, ACADISO.LIN).

MEASUREINIT is the same value but it has the value preset by language/region (it is stored in the Registry).

MEASUREMENT is typically set by the template file. Both variables can be changed manually.
