Q - question

Aligning a rotated drawing before print.

A - answer If you have a rotated drawing (e.g. in a local coordinate system) and you need to rectify it/align it to the X/Y axes before plotting it, there are several ways how to do this. One of the fastest way is to rotate UCS by Object.

Switch to the layout you want to print and in the model space set the UCSFOLLOW variable to 1. Run the UCS command and choose New, Object (or in menu: Tools > New UCS > Object). Click on a object line (e.g. an edge of a parcel), which you want to align to the horizontal axis. The drawing view (and it coord.system) will be aligned to the horizonal direction.
