Q - question

Smoother arcs in ADT objects (AEC).

A - answer You can make Architectural Desktop objects smoother -- objects containing arc-, circle- and other curved elements are often displayed or rendered too roughly, as segmented polygons.

To display them more smoothly, set the AECFACETDEV variable - the lower its value, the smoother (round) the display. You may also set the AecFacetMax variable (max. number of facets). Any change take effect only after regen or issuing the ObjRelUpdate command.
