Q - question

Jumpy crosshair in AutoCAD window.

A - answer Blinking (jumping, skipping) cursor in an AutoCAD drawing may be caused either by the SNAP setting (F9), or by a collision with your graphics card driver - try to update your Windows driver or lower your color depth setting in Windows.

If this behaviour is limited to a specific drawing, try set the SORTENTS variable to 0.

You may also try to disable osnaps and autohide on palettes. Or try to issue the QSAVE command.
