Q - question

Revit walls with varying thickness.

A - answer A wall with a non-rectangular shape (in plan view) or a wall which thickness changes linearly by height can be created as a in-place family, with its category set to Wall (Modelling > Create > Walls).

Such wall will be properly listed in schedules and you can insert doors and windows in it. You can align (lock) its individual edges to the levels.
