Points do not reflect the PDMODE and PDSIZE settings.

A - answer If POINT-type objects do not react to the display format settings and display only as dots in your drawing, make sure they are not placed in the layer DEFPOINTS. Points in the special layer "DEFPOINTS" are always displayed as dots.
