Q - question

Cannot draw perpendicular to some Arcs.

A - answer If you use rotated UCS or if you export DWG from some vertical applications (like Civil3D or ADT), some right-hand arcs may be represented with a switched normal (rotated normal vector [X,Y,Z]=[0,0,-1]). With such "backside" arcs you cannot e.g. draw perpendicular lines (PER osnap) or you may find othe problems.

To normalize such arc to the standard format (normal vector [0,0,1]), you can use the free LISP utility - Xanadu ArcNorm - for dowwnload on (load it by APPLOAD, start it by ARCNORM). This command selects all switched arcs and make their direction normal (without visual changes in the DWG file).
