How to schedule areas of non-closed spaces in Revit?

A - answer Switch on the Room and Area panel (right-click in the left toolpanel). Now use the Room separation tool and draw lines enclosing the spaces which are not separated by walls.

Such "rooms" can be now scheduled and their areas calculated.
