Q - question

Smoother 3D objects in published DWF files.

A - answer Smoothness of 3D models exported to 3D DWF files is controlled (since AutoCAD 2007) by the 3DDWFPREC variable.

Higher values set smoother round bodies, lower values make facetted, edgy models. The default value of 3DDWFPREC is 2, the maximum is 6. The setting influences also the size of resulting DWF output files and the viewing performance (slow/fast) of the DWF viewer.
