Q - question

Atomic iMate failed - error in Inventor.

A - answer This error may occur when a geometry referenced by an iMate is missing (no longer available) or temporarily not accessible (e.g. when you moved the EOP marker).

This generally indicates a user error or non-standard way in the modelling process. You may have deleted a face previously used for an iMate.
