Q - question

How to set the proper time zone for your drawing?

A - answer To properly set the Sun position as a light source for your AutoCAD renderings you will also need the information about the geographic position and timezone of the particular scene (location, building).

The timezone setting is controlled by the TIMEZONE variable, or by the GEOGRAPHICLOCATION command.

The TIMEZONE variable is by default set to the value of -8000 (Pacific time). For the Czech Republic and Central Europe, the proper value is +1002. The time zone can be also set through the dialog "Geographic position", or simply by selecting the nearest city (e.g. "Prague, Czech Republic").
