Q - question

Set parameters with Flag Manager in Autodesk Simulation CFD.

A - answer Autodesk Simulation CFD uses "Flags" to set its application options. They are similar to the configuration parameters in Revit, or to AutoCAD system variables.

In Autodesk Simulation version 2012, these flags were set manually in a text file, since version 2013 you can use a table in the "Flag Manager" dialog. This dialog can be invoked directly from the Simulation user enviroment (Setup > Design Study Tools > Flags):

Flags

You can use the Flags settings e.g. to improve speed of the application. Try the parameters:

glsl: 0
use_dropshadow: 0
software_rendering: 0
