Q - question

The MAPIINSERT command does not offer a georeference (data from the world file)

A - answer When trying to insert a georeferenced image (e.g. TIFF, JPG), the dialog of the MAPIINSERT command does not offer data from the corresponding World file (.tfw, .jgw) of the geographic position. However, a similar procedure with the GeoRefImg utility works fine on the same image file.

Georeferencing in the MAPIINSERT command dialog works only if the length of the complete image file path (and the georeference) is 128 characters or less. Embedding via FDO has a similar limitation.

Shorten the folder path (e.g. by mapping) or use GeoRefImg or install the Raster Design module.
