Ugly (jaggy) TrueType texts in DWG drawing.

Some of your drawings may show ugly, non-smoothed, jagged texts written in TrueType fonts (TTF), especially in rounded letters. These displayed rough edges sometimes do not react on regens.

This is most probably caused by the selected visual style - compare the style "Wireframe model":

and "2D wireframe model" (the proper one for planar texts):

You can switch visual styles by clicking on the mini-menu indicating the style in the drawing canvas' top left corner. You can also use the command VSCURRENT to switch visual styles.

Other sources of this problem may be hardware acceleration, non-planar views or non-standard text style width factor or slant factor - font style widths other than 1 and non-zero slanting will force AutoCAD to handle TrueType texts in different (not Windows system) way.
