Q - question

Unavailable function "Import AutoCAD block".

A - answer You are trying to use the command "Import AutoCAD block" (Annotate > Symbols) in your Inventor drawing environment and this function (icon) is grayed out?

The funtion of importing a specific external block from a different DWG file is active only in Inventor drawing views using the DWG format (not the IDW). Create a drawing based on the Standard.dwg template - then you will be able to import AutoCAD blocks.
