What is the difference between MAPANNUPDATE and MAPANNREFRESH?
A - answer To update the annotation information in a drawing you can use two similar AutoCAD Map commands - Update (MAPANNUPDATE) and Refresh (MAPANNREFRESH). What are the differences between them?

The MAPANNUPDATE command is to be used when you add or remove the text component of an annotation. This command has two modes: "Retain" and "Discard"; the Retain option updates only the value.

The MAPANNREFRESH command is to be used if you only change the expression in the annotation. It has also two modes: "String only", which changes only the value, or "Full annotation", which updates all.
