Q - question

Which CAD formats can be be translated in Fusion 360 even without the cloud, offline?

A - answer To convert (import/export, translated) most CAD file formats, Autodesk Fusion 360 uses the cloud functionality and so it must be in on-line mode. But some CAD format files are processed locally and thus you don't necessarily need the online mode connected to the internet.

So which CAD formats are converted locally in Fusion 360?

Export
  • F3D
  • EAGLE
  • IGES
  • SAT/SMT (ACIS)
  • STEP
  • STL (3D print)
Import
  • F3D
  • EAGLE
  • DXF
  • SVG
  • STL
  • OBJ
