Q - question

Why does the Power dimensioning command zoom my drawing?

A - answer The dimension command in AutoCAD Mechanical (AMPOWERDIM, Default > Annotation > Power Dimension, Ctrl+Alt+D) does not change the zoom level by default, but it works with the User Coordinate System. That's why it reacts to its changes and if the variable UCSFOLLOW is set, the dimension command performs Zoom Extents.

If you don't want to perform this view change (zoom), reset the UCSFOLLOW value to 0.
