Q - question

Zoom on predefined annotation scales.

A - answer Using the ANNOSCALEZOOM variable introduced in AutoCAD 2023, you can zoom viewports using the mouse wheel in predefined steps, following each defined annotation scale.

While the standard zoom changes the view in smooth, subtle steps, when ANNOSCALEZOOM is enabled, the zoom behavior will change and the view scale will switch from one fixed scale to the next higher or lower scale. If you have set the drawing to display annotations depending on the selected scale, the drawing will also switch in pre-known increments and display states.
