What do you mean bleeding through?Maybe it's a graphics card problem. What are your system specs? Can you attach a copy of the drawing to a subsequent post?

When I say bleeding I mean objects on one layer are showing thru to the next layer when they should be hidden. It does not happen all the time but is annoying when it does. I don't think it is graphic card related. Thanks

Without an actual drawing to analyze it would be difficult to say what the problem is.  So I guess you're stuck for the moment.

Hello cadman2014, is your problem in the model or paper space ?
If it's in model space I wouldn't recommand to work hidden or realistic because you might grip some entities near to one that you want without seeing it.
If it's a problem of setting a viewport for it to print hidden or an other way you will have to use the command
MVIEW to set active the hidden viewport.
Have you applied some material on your solids then you could set a transparancy on some.philippe JOSEPH2015-02-26 13:04:35

End all doubt and upload a drawing.  Why do we have to continue to guess at what you mean?
