It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. A user posted the following comment to one of my YouTube videos for our Project Snap design content search tool. Project Snap indexes all of the data inside your designs so that you can locate your design files easily. The feedback read: Uauuuu... Not speaking Portuguese, I used the Yahoo Babelfish translator to translate the feedback. It gave me: Uauuuu… The interatividade, management and manipulation of the archives are being excessively. It is always an arduous work to manipulate archives only saw Windows Explorer, with this incorporated functionality to the AutoCAD, the user will have more agility with the manuscript of its archives, as well as it will be able in a way each better time to reaproveitar geometrias and blocks with this innovative concept. They still imagine everything this integrated to the Vault Professional, would be excessively! I liked very. Based on seeing the words, "integrated to the Vault Professional would be excessive..." in my haste, I misinterpreted the overall message to mean: "I believe he would like Project Snap integrated into AutoCAD so he does not have to use Vault." Another team member on the labs.snap@autodesk.com email alias used the Google translator to translate the original message. It gave him: Uauuuu ... Interactivity, management and handling of the files are getting too much. It is always hard work to handle only files via Windows Explorer, with this feature built into AutoCAD, the user will have more agility with the handling of their files, and may in a way even better geometries and reuse blocks of this innovative concept. Imagine all this yet integrated with Vault Professional, would be awesome! I really enjoyed. Yikes! The user would like to see an integration with AutoCAD and Vault. You can see that the translated text, unless read very carefully, can lead to two very different meanings. In the original, I clearly misread the user's intent. I think we'll be using the Google translator from here on out.
