Hello!I have imported a drawing from Microstation, which has certain attributes (visibles in Autocad 2008) that I would like to reproduce in ACAD and I am not sure how to do it.Here's a link of the drawing I imported, and how it looks when I open it in AutoCad: http://zorhww.blu.livefilestore.com/y1pILX6BQM8s8NZ2hpzHAkEhGZfHXqV1kKDMqZnm-RsheJrWPxybKdD3fdjm0ffjJNWVd28vQw79eyFdhJYp-pILw/before.jpgAnd here is a link of what it looks like when I double click on it:http://zorhww.blu.livefilestore.com/y1pcRAQXZAuzbMQWevrjOqcKeM7M4vHQInxeb3qJrAiAfV6rlzOySLd2WSeg7CC4qpFh12Gg3_tGrjoojYY8ZDL7w/after.jpgCan anyone guide? I would like to start one of these form scratch but have no idea how to do it...thanks!

You want to add Block attributes.  Command is attdef When you create these attributes they need to be in a seperate drawing so when you insert the block you get the text imput window.

hi! thanks for your help!I just tried it an it works-but I can't seem to be able to add several lines, only one-lined text. I even clicked the 'multimple lines' option when creating it but I only get one line text... do you know what I should do next?thanks!

After you enter the command prompt: ATTDEF then you select the multiple enter your TAG and Prompt information then set up your justification, text style and size then save the dwg.  When you insert the block it will have you insert the test in the command prompt.  When you hit enter it will ask you for the text for the second line. When you hit return again it will ask you if you need more lines or if you are done.  i hope this helps.
