I am putting together an architectural fee quote where the developer is insisting on CAD drawings to BS 1192 (working in the UK).Does anyone here work to that BS as I'd like to get some kind of idea of minimum implementation requirements?Does it allow for stb printing or is it all just ctb in order to accommodate all possible cad systems?I
have my own layering system and line-weights (mostly by layer) and
colours on-screen that suit me, though these can easily be remapped to
suit set standards if need be.I'd also be interested if any style other
than romans.shx at full (w=1) width is permissible. I usually employ
romans, but for my own reasons make it a slightly reduced width.I
am also keen to discover just how many people use the 'shared' model
system. I don't mind passing on my drawings for use by other
disciplines, but it seems fraught with danger to all be trying to use
the same 'file' with engineers discarding architectural layers and so
on.Any information or input would be useful, even if only to point me to another forum or site entirely.TIA.Gordon.
