Display full version of the post: Arrow attachment for Qleader

I have an older version of AutoCAD.  When using QLeader to describe something, if you extend the leader to the left, AutoCAD always attaches the leader to the text block at the lower right corner.  This doesn't work for me.  I would like for it to be attached at the "middle right" location.  Is there a setting somewhere that allows me to have this be the default?  Yes, you can manually change it but I am very tired of doing it this way.Thanks.

What version of AutoCAD are you using?
I wish there was a way to force everyone to include this type of information in their posts.

When the QLEADER command is invoked look at your command line.  AutoCAD will prompt, "Specify first leader point, or [Settings] :"  Type "S" for Settings.  This will bring up the Leader Settings dialog box which should have three tabs one of which is named "Attachment".  Click on this tab.  The choices you see are the only ones AutoCAD recognizes.  If there is one you like better choose it then click on the OK button, close down the window and go back to work.  If there isn't, well, what can I say?  I did not write the program.  John Connor2011-03-10 12:26:14

Your wish was granted. The Product information from the user's profile is now displayed in the left column.

"Your wish has been granted."

1) Thank you very much!

2) That means I still have two more wishes coming right?

Thank you, that took care of it.  As to the other comments, I use a different version at work and at home.  Both are older.  The one at work is 2006 Desktop and the one at home is Light 2008.   This approach works for the 2008 version, I still have to check on the one at work.

Good news for you.  I checked it on the 2004 version.  That's the oldest version I have loaded although if I had to I could go all the way back to Release 9.
