Hi everyone
 
Probably a fairly simple problem for the CAD minds on here.
 
I have received a drawing in from a housing developer and I noticed that within their title block they had an attribute that was able to capture the filepath, date and time, the person who opened it etc..
 
I have explode the title block and consulted the help (dont want to ask the person who sent it, might come across unproffesional) but to no avail.
 
Does anyone know how to get this. I know about the plot stamp, but that only works when you open it with your own copy of AutoCAD.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This can be done with AutoCAD fields (dynamic texts).

Thanks for your reply Vladamir, unfortunately im a bit of a cad novice, where is the fields option. I'm using Autocad 2008 LT, can it be done on this.

Creating FIELDs is limited in older versions of AutoCAD LT, but you can try the [CMD]FIELD[/CMD] command or the tip:
