Last week, I posted about the new auto-complete feature in AutoCAD LT 2012. I also mentioned the TAB method of cycling through commands, which prompted this response from Murray Clack: You pointed out how it is easy sometimes to “tab too fast” right past the desired command causing some frustration.  I have discovered a trick to alleviate some of that frustration – I learned that if you “tabbed too far” past the desired command, simply hold down the SHIFT key and then keep pressing the TAB key, and you will notice that you can cycle through the commands in REVERSE until you get to the desired command. This trick also works right from the get-go if so desired.  For example, if you enter “LAY”, and then hold down the SHIFT key and then press the TAB key, the first command to appear should be “LAYWALK” which is the last command that has LAY as a prefix (the first command would be LAYCUR).
