Hello,I've been working on a model for quite a while and now am starting to discover how the anipath of autocad works to get some cool renderd video's of my model. problem is that it takes ages for the video to me made, about 60 seconds on my costimised settings will take around 20 hours of rendering.at the start of the animation it will say that there are about 16 hours remaining , 24 hours into the project it will say about 5 hours remaining (something keeps me busy I dont get it I'm not working with the pc at all just letting it do autocad nothing else. and still the time to render takes ages) here's what I got so far,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRpjntCP-jQif any body has any cool tips or tricks about animating stuff like this (or knows another topic around here that might be usefull please let me know)all the beste,

You can set the render raytracing parameters for faster rendering. But architectural animations are usually done in 3ds max or other animation software which allows things like network batch rendering (splitting the job to multiple computers), starting/stopping the render job and more detailed control of the animation and postprocessing effects.

I just found , http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/qaID.asp?tip=4905 that tip/trick and have a little question about:Intel processors with the hyperthreading (HT) and dual-core technology are considered by the operating system as multiprocessor PCs.
as I have a dual core shoud I turn WHIPTHREAD to 2?

I'd suggest setting it to 3 - but it may cause some problems with incompatible graphics cards.
