I've got Win7 Pro 64-bit using AutoCAD 2013 and I too print to a HP DJ 500.  No such issue with printing though.  Security issue with Win7?  Why do you think that?

First I've heard of it and I visit a lot of AutoCAD forums.  Guess I'll have to have another look.

Have you loaded latest Service Pack update for your autocad 2013?It has a bunch of problems with printing, layouts and zooming, etc.  This patch fixed all of my problems.sp 1.1
