This happened to me last week.  There is a product update sp 1.1 to fix that.In the meantime, to get back up and running, go to your Windows Start, find Autodesk, then Click on Reset to Factory Defaults.Fixed mine right up.Then I installed the update and all is well.

Where do you finf restore to factory Defaults? I tried right clicking but can't see that option. Also, where did you find the service pack?

Hi there, Thank you for the help I also experience earlier this kind of problem. With regards to the update, is it fine to install that service pack even though I am using a cracked version of Autocad 2013?Thanks for the help and Regards.

xchan:Give it a try.  What do you have to lose?Personally, I hope it doesn't fix your problem.  I paid for my copy.

I resolve it already by restoring factory defaults. My concern is maybe my serial will be get blocked upon updating into service pack 1.1, is there any users here who installed the sp1and they never get blocked their serial/authentication in Autocad2013?

AutoDesk has a new authentication process that identifies the IP address of users who do not possess legal copies of their software.  It was just rolled out this week.

The intent is to let the code go through for the express purpose of documenting the illegal activity upon which a search warrant and subsequent legal action can be based.  Fines and imprisonment are not unheard of.

I'm also having this trouble on one particular machine. It's a new Dell Latitude E5430 running Win7 x86. The error is the same aside from the numbers. Mine reads FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 0h. I have tried installing the service pack but that didn't change anything. I have also tried to reset to defaults but I just get this error and the program shuts down. It worked once or twice then just lost the ability to open anything with it.I did try uninstalling and re-installing, cleaned the registry of anything Autodesk related. Maybe a demonic exorcism ?
