Hello to you all.I need some help please.I lost my UNITS command. When I type it on the command line and or select fromthe pull down menu this is what I get in return: unknown command "DDUNITS".I am not a CAD guru, pretty new to this releaseI typed on the command line several approaches I got from others like: ._units,   -units, un,units.arx and system variable "demandload" set to 3.None of the above worked. Could any of you out there please help me?Thank youRico

Are we to assume that the command used to work previously?Did you make any changes to the CUI?Did you undefine the command?Have you tried resetting your profile? Are there any other commands that mysteriously no longer work?Have you tried going through the Ribbon to access the command?

The other option would be to do a REPAIR of the installation which is not the same as an uninstall/reinstall.

Run the installation & opt for the "Repair" option.

Robert, thank you.If I run the repair, would I loose all the settings, work spaces and customization's I have done?I also found that when I type at the command line appload units, it takes me to a dialog box where I can search for it.I founded I clicked on load and it returns a samall dialog box saying: unitsres.dll not found.I did search for it on the NET founded the "unitsres.dll" and downloaded. someone told me not to use it because they usually come bundle with viruses. I believe the file is corrupted. Do you think you can sendme a copy of yours please, so I can re-inserted in the directory. I like to try this approach first, beforeI do a repair. Thanks again RobertBe well

The REPAIR option won't affect your settings.  It repairs or replaces corrupted or missing files.  Run it.

RE: UNITS COMMAND, RETURNS "unknown command DDUNITS.     (unitsres.dll not foundwarning dialog box)Thanks to all of you that did want to help me.As you suggested to run the repair, I did one last search and found that the unitsres.dll under the AutoCAD folder was missing. I replaced it in the directory and now when I type the units command it returns the normal dialog box. I opened a drawing drew a couple of lines, selected the units command worked, save the drawing re-opened and now works fine. I believe that file was lost because AutoCad shuts it self off and I had to do a recovery file. Thanks again.

AutoCAD shuts itself off?  How do you mean?  That does not sound good.
