Hi, I have just had my eyes opened to the wonderful world of LIPS routines and how powerful they are. However, i am running autocad LT12 and there does not appear to be a facility to run LISP. Can anyone help with this please? Are there any add-ons etc. There is a possibility that we may be upgradingto autocad lt17. Thank you.

Lisp is NOT supported in any version of AutoCAD LT.  You are limited to macros or diesel macros.  There are a couple of websites solely dedicated to LT that demonstrate the use of these programming options.  There is only one add-on for LT that supposedly gives users the ability to utilize lisp in LT but I don't know for sure if it works or not as I have never tried it.  A simple search should bring up links to the program website. Here you go...http://www.cadsta.com/

You'll need invest in full blown AutoCAD, or an alternative such as Grabert Ares Commander, BricsCAD, ZWCad, to name a few.

Or buy, if possible, CADSTA and see if it works.  Of course there is no telling what it's future may be if and when AutoDesk decides to take the company to court.  I think they drove another company with a similar such program out of business.  That's what happens when you mess with the bully on the block.

LT EXTENDER. It was a very popular / useful add-on to LT.
