Display full version of the post: AutoCAD on a Tablet PC

I do a lot of survey work and I'm looking to get a tablet PC (NOT an ipad) so I can draw as I walk around buildings.

I know you can get other software that links to distos etc but as I already run AutoCAD and know how to use it I thought it would be better to use that.

All I really want to know is is there a plug in for Autocad that when you draw a line, a dialog box can pop up so you can tap on the dims via the touch screen, as the keyboard will be folded up under the screen.  I know windows has an on screen keyboard but I just wondered if there is anything out there specifically for Autocad.  Trying to type @0,1000 via the on screen keyboard will be a pain.

Many Thanks
