Hi. I have found the way of masking text background within the attribute block. But actually what I don't want is not to fill any color in the background of text but only the text lines to masked and visible. For example - if there is text called 'Living Room' and it is placed in the living room area of the plan (where room color is grey), I only want the text lines of 'Living Room' to be visible rather than the background c color offset which is generally given when we use either background masking or even Wipeout command in AutoCAD.Any ideas? please share asap.Thanks.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, a background mask like that would be too time consuming to create.Perhaps the only solution would be to bring the text to the foreground and make sure it is printed bold enough to overcome any of the background clutter.

its fine for me if its time consuming becoz I will be doing that within Attribute block. But I am sure there has to be way to that that!

Forget it.  I thought I had a way of doing it but it did not work. The best I can come up with at the moment is to use the TEXTMASK > OFFSET option and specify a very small offset BUT to get it as tight as possible you would have to do it based upon individual letters.  Each and every letter would have to be a separate entity.  Hope you aren't too verbose when it comes to attributes.  And they better be fixed values because it won't work if the values can change from, for example, 4 characters to 12 characters.
