G'day gang.just a 2 minor questions.background.I use lofts when I am model tubing structures, for bends odd shapes and the like. The file sizes seem to be very large of these simple pieces. for exampleI lofted a simple pipe with 6 bends and the same pipe using donuts.Lofted size is 1,309kbDonut size is 167kb.For a usual structure I have a large number of pipes and bends.I am terrible when it comes to modelling 3d pipe bends using donuts, soQ1: How do I reduce the file size while using lofts?Q2: Is there a more an efficient way to 3d model pipes? Thanks for your timeCheersTG

may help you in reducing the DWG file size.

There are both AutoCAD add-ons and more suitable tools for designing pipes and fitting - e.g. Inventor Professional.
