Display full version of the post: CAD mesh library as redistributable?
Hello everyone,I am developing a software tool that needs a small 3d mesh processing library and I was wondering if the current CAD tools have redistributable libraries and would be useful here.Does anyone have some information on this? Any type of information would be useful.Thank you.

I'd contact the respective companies and ask them directly. I suppose you'd have to prove you're a developer and meet all the requirements/responsibilities that come with the title.

Maybe you can do a search for open source software that would fit your needs. Then you don't have to ask anybody for anything. I have no clue if there is open source software for 3D mess processing.
I did, but so far all the software that I found were incompatible with commercial use due to license constraints (they were GPL).

That's too bad. How about a university?
