Hi All,I need to calculate the area / surface of a couple of thousands of laser-dxf files. So the files only contains the part and no other data like text or dimensions. Is there any tool I can use to open all the dxf files automatically and to create an export file (CSV, TXT, .....) with all the area's in it?Hope someone can help. It's too much work to do it manually. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your offer ketxu.I directly uploaded 4 dxf files last week, but that post is still waiting for approval. I hope you can see those files on short term.BR,Tjeerd

Sorry for the late approval. Have you found a way? The geometry is rather complicated (disconnected lines, isles) so it is rather difficult to automate the area calculations.

Without the isles I can imagine a batch with would take all files one by one and always performs a REGION All and then writes the area of the resulting region to a table or a log file.

Thank you Vladimir for approval.Sadly I can't change those files. That's how Siemens NX and Teamcenter is exporting the laser-DXF files. But gladly this problem can probably be solved by someone of Siemens, but not with the use of the DXF files. But that's not really clear yet.
