Use the -DWGUNITS command to change the units you want to draw in.

You can scale your drawing 25.4x up or down. But generally, AutoCAD uses unitless geometry (a box measures e.g. 10 units - not necessarily mm or inches) - you need physical/real units only for dimensioning a plot scaling (paperspace).

Hello naksha_2011, in different AutoCAD files you should not have any problems provide you set each file with the good unit ( command UNITS you set in inches, mm , m,  foot etc... ) without you having to scale your entire file ( or do this from the origin 0,0 in 2D or 0,0,0 in 3D ).
If you do this you can insert different files in different units and all is OK.
Check your AutoCAD release to see if it includes this "insertion scale" option with the command UNITS.
You said that you have the problem when inserting it in an other software, then it may be in the convertion towards this other software or you have this only with your new MKS files ?

Hello N° 2, see the printscreen ( in french, sorry ) if it helps.
Warning : when you set the units in that panel, you won't change the units of the dimensions that you will draw with the commands : DIMLINEAR, DIMANGULAR, DIMRADIUS, etc...
This you will have to setup in the panel DDIM ( dimension style manager ) and there you will be able to set in inches, mm, m, etc... all the dimensions that you have done in also other units.

@ philippe JOSEPHHello sir , How to identify the layer of block object without block edit ?

Hello musthaqcad, if I understand your need :
You can do a LIST on your block to see on which layer it was inserted.
( If you had declared BY BLOCK the lines, arcs etc... of that block, than the block will have the color, line type of the layer in which it has been inserted )
You can do an NCOPY to copy one or different objects ( lines, arcs, etc... ) included in a block without having to copy+explode that block.
Please let us know if this helped and if I had correctly understood your question.
