Hello allmy office uses the DraftSight program as a free CAD software, but it will no longer be available for free use starting 2020.i look for recommendations for a new FREE software to install. We are civil engineers (Geotecnical engineering ) and we need our program to have these characters:-not to be an online program-fit to export files in a DXF format. -suitable for printing to a PDF file. - suitable for SHP format phonts.I'll be glad if you had any recommendations! Thanks

I am using OpenSCAD, which is great for basic 3d modeling. Here is a list of best free CAD software:https://www.hongkiat.com/blog/free-cad-software/

There are certainly some great ones out there. I do know of one that has a free download and kind of second to none https://backtocad.com/solutions/
