Hello, I supose that you don't want to "rescale" your drawing ( or do it from 0,0,0 ).
If you want to use DIMORDINATE ( in X direction and in Y direction )
you will have to set a new dimstyle special to have the dimensions in m when drawn in mm.
In DDIM, set a new style and in the panel : principal units , scale of the dimension : 0.001.
I propose to set also a "post text" : m ( space, m ) to have the indication : m on every dimensions.
Advise me if I'm wrong or an other request from you...

Or if you just want to scale your drawing down 1:1000, use the SCALE command.

Hello again Tariq.
You should have followed my advice : if you rescale your drawing, do it from 0,0 ( or 0,0,0 in 3D ).
AutoCAD will let you specify the point from where you want to do your scale command and it will be : 0,0 ( or 0,0,0 if you do it with 3d objects ).

Hello rappelzdzd.
Tell us what you want to learn specially.
For me I wouldn't have rescaled that drawing but I would have use different units in order to :

Set the "scale" of my drawing in "mm" with DDUNITS so that I can work with other files in meters, inches, feet, etc... without any problems.
If you do that with all your files, when you insert a file into an other the "scale" is automaticaly OK ( even though when you insert a file in meters in a file in millimeters or inches, you should be abble to see it at a first glance ).

Set the "scale of the dimensions" in "DDIM / Principal units" to 0.001 so that I can have dimensions in meters with a drawing in millimeters.

Etc... ask for more or give us an example of what you are in trouble with.
