You could but it is not the best program to be doing contours with.I get the feeling that you want to do this in 3D not 2D.  Is that correct?

Thanks for the replyYes, I would like to draw a 3D contour of one site. Since I don't have autoCAD civil 3D, I need to get the coordinates from the 2D Autocad. After obtaining the coordinates,  I will use them in another program.

What data do you actually have that you will be using to create the 3D contours in AutoCAD with?  I'm not quite understanding what you are doing.

You can use the Click2XLS tool (freeware, see the tip 8030) for a mostly manual process or the Curve2XLS tool (shareware, see Download) for an automatic export.
